To the Editor:
As we approach the mid-term elections, there are a number of grave concerns this country is facing: the economy, our boarders and national security. While Obama claims he inherited this mess from George Bush, we have not seen any improvement in the last two years. What we are seeing appears to be a power grab by the Democratic Party. You could probably call them the Democratic Socialist Party, also.
Besides our failed economy, Obama has done little to secure our borders. Arizona was attacked by the Obama administration when it tried to do something about the security problem after the government failed to act. Obama has treated our deadly enemies much better, even bowing to them and apologizing to them, while disarming our military.
And there is more: Obama care, bailouts, class warfare, social justice programs, sweetheart deals, backroom deals. Where is the transparency we were promised?
We need to elect candidates who are really fired up about these issues and are running for office to do something about them. Here in South Dakota, we have Kristi Noem, who is running for Congress against Stephanie Herseth Sandlin. Kristi is a successful rancher who, like many of us, is concerned about the direction this country is taking.
Stephanie has had her chance. She has voted in support of Nancy Pelosi over 90 percent of the time. It seems she runs with the intellectual elite, who care little about South Dakota when she leaves South Dakota and goes back to Washington. Let’s give Kristi Noem a chance to help save our American way of life.
